With a charming cast of forest friends, a young princess brings the warmth of healing to the cold—and discovers her own strength as she seeks to help a loved one. An enchanting new adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen designed to delight families with kids from three to tween. Prior to DeSales, Michael earned an associate's degree in music from Montgomery County Community College. Partrick Mulcahy

PATRICK MULCAHY

Producing Artistic Director

Since assuming leadership in 2003, Mulcahy has led PSF’s return to artistic excellence and financial stability, built the professional company of artists, oversaw the quadrupling of the endowment, and achieved increasing national recognition for the Festival. Further accomplishments include PSF’s first-ever awards from the National Endowment for the Arts and attracting a company of artists including winners and nominees of the Tony, Obie, Emmy, Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk, Jefferson, and Barrymore awards to the Festival, growth in all income areas, a 75% increase in annual attendance, and the expansion of the number of Actors’ Equity contracts per season. As a professional director, actor and fight director, credits include Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, television, and radio. Mulcahy has acted with Angela Bassett, Peter MacNicol, Hal Holbrook, Joan Cusack, Don Cheadle, Anne Meara, Milo O’Shea, Cynthia Nixon, Tony Shaloub, Bradley Whitford, and others at the New York Shakespeare Festival, Hartford Stage, Roundabout Theatre Company, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Syracuse Stage, and the Walnut St. He served as a fight director for Tom Hulse and Timothy Busfield in A Few Good Men on Broadway and for OffBroadway productions starring John Savage, John Mahoney, Marcia Gay Harden, and Patrick Dempsey. He directed Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga in The Real Thing, and, for PSF, directed Julius Caesar (2016), Macbeth (2014), Hamlet (2011), Antony and Cleopatra (2009), The Winter’s Tale (2007), Henry IV, Part I (2005), The Tempest (1999), and acted in and served as fight director for The Taming of the Shrew (1998) and Julius Caesar (1997). Dennis Razze

DENNIS RAZZE

Director/Associate Artistic Director

is the chairman of the theatre department of DeSales University, where he has been a faculty member for the last 33 years. He is also a founding member of PSF. Last summer, he directed PSF’s critically acclaimed production of West Side Story. He has directed many of PSF’s productions including Les Misérables,  Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, Sweeney Todd, South Pacific, A Funny Thing…Forum, 1776, Cyrano de Bergerac, My Fair Lady, Amadeus, Man of La Mancha, Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and As You Like It. Mr. Razze also composed musical scores for PSF’s Cyrano, The Tempest, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He recently received the Arts Ovation Award for Performing Arts from the Arts Commission of the city of Allentown.

CASEY GALLAGHER

Managing Director

has worked at PSF for 19 seasons. Over the years he was the assistant house manager, box office manager, company manager, assistant producer, and director of development. Since 2004, in his role as general manager and later managing director, he has served as the administrative leader of the Festival working very closely with the box office, business, development, marketing and production departments. During this time, PSF subscriptions have more than doubled, income from the annual Luminosity Gala fundraiser has more than quadrupled, and the summer seasonal staff has grown to more than 200. Casey has also been treasurer for the Shakespeare Theatre Association, director of audience services for The People's Light & Theatre Company, a board member for Civic Theatre of Allentown, a peer panelist for the New Jersey Council on the Arts and a judge for the Greater Philadelphia Barrymore Awards for excellence in theatre.  Casey is a member of the PSF Board or Directors and also serves on the board of the Allentown Arts Academy Elementary Charter School.  He looks forward to the future of PSF and its 2030 Vision. has directed and developed new work at The Public/Joe's Pub, New York Theatre Workshop, Ars Nova, Soho Rep, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville, La Jolla Playhouse, Huntington Theatre Company, Cleveland Playhouse, Geva Theatre Center, InterAct Theatre Company, and Hangar Theatre, among others. She is a Usual Suspect at NYTW, New Georges Affiliated Artist, member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, a recipient of SDC's Denham Fellowship and Williamstown’s Sagal Fellowship, and an alumna of the Emerging Artist Fellowship at NYTW, Drama League Directors Project, and Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab. Steve is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and teaches design at Ithaca College in New York.

is a costume designer, writer, and educator. Recent design: Signature Theatre, Arden, Theatre Exile (Barrymore Nomination, Outstanding Costume Design), InterAct Theatre Company, Philadelphia Artists' Collective (Resident Designer, 7 seasons), among many others. As a writer, her work on her blogs Ladypockets and I Am Begging My Mother Not To Read This Blog has been critically acclaimed and read by millions. Her favorite role is as a teacher, where her curriculum combines theatrical design with collaborative, critical-thinking skills.
