Daniel Espie is a Philadelphia-based pianist who has enjoyed a wide-ranging career as a performer, theater musician, and teacher. He is excited to work with PSF for the first time! Having received his MMus from the Royal Academy of Music in 2017 and his BM from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance, Daniel has performed with large ensembles including the No Name Pops, Bay Atlantic Symphony, Ocean City Pops, and the Philadelphia Boys Choir, as well as smaller chamber groups, including the Philadelphia-based ENA Ensemble and DUO Phil with flutist Chelsea Meynig. Daniel is an engaged theatre musician in the Philadelphia area. This season, he served as the Associate Music Director for the Walnut Street Theatre’s productions of 1776 (2026) and A Christmas Story: The Musical (2025), and as Associate Music Director for the Arden Theatre’s production of Falsettos (2025).
