This charming adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story follows the adventures of orphaned James who discovers a magical potion that transforms an old ordinary peach into an enchanted fruit of epic proportions. James and the Giant Peach comes hilariously to life in this delightful story about finding family and forging your own path. Through peach-eating shark-infested waters and seagull-filled skies, James’ journey of enormous proportions is fast-paced fairy tale fun for the entire family!

A high energy one-hour production designed for children ages 4 to 10 to actively experience Shakespeare’s vibrant language and characters. S4K activates imaginations and generates laughs for the entire family. Using a combination of songs, puppets, and scenes from William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, S4K provides families with the opportunity to introduce children to Shakespeare in a welcoming, super kid-friendly environment.

In this engrossing tour-de-force musical, Billie tells her own story, interlaced with more than a dozen of her most famous songs, including “God Bless the child,” “Strange Fruit,” “What a Little Moonlight Can Do", and "Ain't Nobody's Business if I do." The Tempest will be directed by Associate Artistic Director Dennis Razze, who began as a founding member of PSF 32 years ago in the very first season in 1992 and will be retiring from the Festival at the end of the summer. Razze’s artistic contributions over the many years have been unmatched, from musicals to Shakespearean productions. Don’t miss his directorial finale with Shakespeare’s own magical farewell to the theatre.
