A delightful adaptation of a dearly-loved classic

Book by Jane Austen
Adapted by Jessica Swale
Directed by Gina Lamparella

JULY 16 - AUGUST 2 | Main Stage

The future is uncertain for sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood as they are left penniless and without prospects in a culture where status and matchmaking are nothing short of essential. As their family is forced to begin a new life in Devonshire, they encounter promising new acquaintances who are much more than what they initially seem. Through hopes and heartbreak, the Dashwood sisters discover the cruelties and unpredictability that can come with the search for true love, whether measured or impulsive. Jane Austen’s razor-sharp wit shines through in this fresh and funny adaptation of her beloved classic from the Olivier Award-winning writer Jessica Swale. Ages 8+
