JASMINE BRIGHT (Assistant Choreographer, Color Purple) Jasmine was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has recently graduated from DeSales University and has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance. She learned, performed, and choreographed in multiple styles of dance, specifically African, Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop, Praise, and Tap. Her most recent works are from the Emerging Choreographers Concert where she choreographed Omowale’s Legacy in 2023 as well as ESSENTIAL UNITY in 2022 at DeSales. She has also choreographed African dances for the 2022 theater production A Civil War Christmas and the 2021 theater production Crumbs from the Table of Joy at DeSales. She would like to give thanks to her family and friends for her support and give thanks to DeSales and PSF for allowing her this opportunity.
