RENEE REDDING-JONES (Intimacy Director, Color Purple) is a certified Intimacy Director, Intimacy Coordinator, Movement Specialist, Laban Movement Analyst, Choreographer and a New York Dance and Performance “Bessie” Award winning performer. With an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College and her BS in Physical Education/Dance from Morgan State University, Renee moved on to receive her certification as a Contemplative Psychotherapist through the Nalanda Institute of Contemplative Science. As a teacher and choreographer, Renee has enjoyed a long tenure in the undergraduate drama department with both The Classical Studio at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts and The Atlantic Acting School and is pleased to be a part of this production of The Color Purple.
