Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival Welcomes New Members and Leadership to Board of Directors

Center Valley, PA – Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival is pleased to welcome four distinguished members of the Lehigh Valley community to its Board of Directors. Composed of 32 members, primarily volunteers from five counties, PSF’s Board of Directors serves as community representatives who support the company’s mission and administration.

In addition to four new or returning members, Judith A. Harris, Esq., of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., assumes leadership as President, succeeding John Russo who served in the role for more than six years. Kerry Wrobel, president of Lehigh Valley Industrial Park, Inc., now serves as Secretary and Jo-Ann S. Kelly, of Clarke Systems in Allentown, continues her role as Vice-President.

“We are blessed with a Board that provides strategic and financial insight of a very high caliber, and represents the interests of both the Festival and the community we serve,” says Producing Artistic Director Patrick Mulcahy. “The Board’s newest members and leaders­­­ will continue and expand upon that great tradition.”

The company welcomes its newest members:

    • James A. Bartholomew, an attorney and shareholder with the law firm of Fitzpatrick Lentz & Bubba in Center Valley, Pa., concentrates his practice in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and business law. He served as solicitor of the Southern Lehigh School District for more than 35 years; as a past board member of the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and chair of its endowment committee, and as past board member and president of the Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra and chair of its endowment fund.

 

    • Thomas S. Lubben, Ed.D., is the CEO and Founder of TLC Arts Schools LLC, a non-profit organization that creates charter art schools. He is responsible for establishing the Charter Arts High School in Bethlehem, Arts Academy Charter Middle School in Salisbury, and Allentown Arts Academy Elementary Charter School, which currently provide services for 1,200+ students in the Lehigh Valley. He serves as an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem and lives with his wife, Carole, in Northampton, PA.

 

    • Andy McIntyre currently serves as chief financial officer at Computer Aid, Inc., where he began as controller in 1989. During his tenure, Computer Aid has grown from a regional IT services provider to a global enterprise. McIntyre’s experience includes several acquisitions and the establishment of subsidiaries and joint ventures in several countries. He was previously employed by Price Waterhouse and served as a Captain in the United States Army.

 

    • Stefanie B. Wexler, vice president and general manager for the Additives Business at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., is currently a member of the Kutztown University College of Business Advisory Board and vice president with St. Joseph the Worker School Board. Stefanie and her husband Keith are longtime supporters of PSF.

 

  • Bartholomew, Lubben, McIntyre, and Wexler join a board that continues to support the Festival’s Vision 2030 for world-class theatre. PSF currently attracts patrons from all 50 states and some of the nation’s leading artists while deepening its contribution to the economic vitality of the Lehigh Valley.

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, a professional company in residence at DeSales University, is the Official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth and a professional, not-for-profit theatre company.
